How the number is built

ΔLineupValue
A trade is scored on the change to your starting lineup, not the pile of names. Depth that lands on your bench contributes nothing, so 3-for-1 packages get penalised the way they should be.
Dynamic VORP
Every player is priced against the replacement-level starter at their own position, recalculated for your league size. The 12th-best QB is worth something very different in an 8-team league than a 14.
Age-decay curves
Dynasty values decay on position-specific curves — running backs from 25 at 12% a year, receivers from 27, quarterbacks not until 32. A 28-year-old RB and a 28-year-old WR are not the same asset.
